Darren Williams has recently been elected as the new MECASA RAC Chair. Darren, the previous Committee Vice-Chair, takes over from James Falchetto, who has led the committee for the past 2 years.
Darren has previously sat on the IRATA Health & Safety and Equipment & Standards Committees and worked across many sectors of the work-at-height industry.
Following his appointment into the position of MECASA RAC Chair, Darren states, “I look forward to representing IRATA, the RAC and its members in the positive and continued development of Rope Access across the region and working in conjunction with other global, regional, municipal, governmental and safety trade organisations for the benefit of the RAC members and the IRATA organisation as a whole”.
IRATA is delighted to welcome Darren Williams into his new role and looks forward to our continued collaboration. We would also like to thank James Falchetto for his contributions to the MECASA RAC over the past 2 years and wish him every success in his future endeavours.
Regional members can contact Darren at [email protected] with any RAC-related queries.
