Our Annual Awards took place at a unique African restaurant in the heart of Cape Town. We were honoured to have Mrs. Deborah Burnett as an invited guest to receive the awards on behalf of her late husband, Graham Burnett. During the emotional presentation, Deborah decided to share the honour of collecting Graham’s Awards with Tjebbe Roestenburg and Mark Campbell, who gave fitting speeches to recognise Graham’s outstanding contribution to IRATA over the past 29 years, as did the IRATA Chairman, Jonathan Capper.
We would also like to posthumously pass on our congratulations to Graham Burnett, who won in all of the following categories:
IRATA International Volunteer of the Year - Winner: Graham Burnett
Longstanding Contribution to Rope Access - Winner: Graham Burnett
Outstanding Achievement in Rope Access - Winner: Graham Burnett
Thank you to all Members who registered their nominations for our ITEC 2017 Annual Awards.
Special thanks go to our guest speaker, who was individually awarded a memento as an acknowledgement of our appreciation.
