William Parsons, a leading specialist engineer in work-at-height safety and former Chair of the Canadian Standards Association’s Z259 Technical Committee on Fall Protection, has been confirmed as a guest speaker at this year’s ITEC in Kraków.

Having contributed to numerous innovations and technical advances throughout his career, leading product development test programs for applications worldwide, William brings extensive knowledge and experience to the ITEC’s lineup of guests.

In his presentation, “Anchors for Fall Protection and Rope Access: Strengths, Standards, and What Really Happens”, William will discuss the critical performance and strength requirements of anchors in modern safety systems. Drawing from his involvement in developing international safety standards, including work with the American National Standards Institute’s Z359 Technical Committee, William will offer valuable insights into the evolution of these regulations and their real-world implications.

William aims to offer insights on how both products and practices may be improved in line with the latest research and technological advancements in work-at-height safety.
